UndocuWelcome 2019

Organized by the Dream Center and sponsored by Career Services Diversity Fund Committee & ASI, we are pleased to share with you our calendar of events! This week features programming and services to meet the needs of Undocumented and mixed-status household students to support them in their personal and academic goals. 
 
Please note, events with an asterisk (*) are open to our Campus Community (Staff/Faculty/Administrators/ & Community Partners). 
 
Food will be provided as supplies last & students will have an opportunity to enter a drawing to win some Cal Poly swag & Brown Issues T-Shirts.

Talk About It Tuesday (TAIT) 11:00AM-12:30PM Miaya May (She/Her/Hers), Lydia Dasari (She/Her/Hers), Facilitators Talk About It Tuesday is an open space for all students to come together, build community and discuss various issues going on in our society and around the world. TAIT will be partnering with the Dream Center, in honor of UndocuWelcome, to raise awareness about Undocu issues on campus and around the country MultiCultural Center, Building 65 Room 111F
AUS Meet & Greet, Canva Art Activity  2:00PM-3:30PM Dream Center Team & AUS Club This event will be an opportunity for new and returning students to meet the Advancement of Undocumented Student Club. This will be a perfect time to socialize and form lasting friendships. We will also be creating Canva's to hang at the Dream Center!  Dream Center (Building 52, Room E11)

Public Charge & Know Your Rights 1:10PM-2:00PM ILD Team This workshop will educate you on public charge and empower you to be an advocate for yourself and others and gain information about your rights if you are ever stopped by the police or ICE agents.  Building 52, Room E29
1 on 1 Consultation 2:30PM-5:30PM ILD Team Private 1 on 1 consultation with immigration attorneys available through appointment.
