BEACoN Research Mentorship Program
BEACoN Research Mentoring is a program funded by the Office of University Diversity and Inclusion that enables underrepresented students to work with faculty for approximately 10 hrs/week on a research project and also receive mentoring in professional development.
Selected students will receive a $1,500 stipend for their work during each of the Winter and Spring quarters ($3,000 total, distributed via financial aid).
Academic Workshops
The Dream Center hosts various workshops throughout the year to discuss how to build positive study habits, navigating Cal Poly, and other academic resources. Check out our calendar of events to see when our next academic workshop will be taking place!
Faculty Connections
The Dream Center invites faculty across campus to host connection hours for students! These connection hours are an opportunity for undocumented students to get to know their faculty, build positive relationship, seek academic and career advice, and more! All faculty selected are undocu-allies.
