WELLNESS PANEL: Nutrition and Food Access
monday, APR 5, 2021
The Wellness Panel has been created to give resources and additional support to the underrepresented student community at Cal Poly. BIPOC and marginalized students are not often the main audience when it comes to talking about wellness, so they lack the adequate spaces to learn and care for themselves that the majority of other students have access to. The Wellness Panel seeks to create a space for that. The panel for April is a space to learn more about nutrition and food access on-campus and within the city.

UNDOCU-TALK THURSDAY
THURSDAY APR 22, MAY 20, JUN 3 2021
Feeling stressed about school? Need a place to engage in self care and improve your mental health? Join us for our Undocutalk Thursday!
What is UndocuTalk: free, confidential, informal one-on-one consultation for Cal Poly students with a mental health provider. This series is occurring in partnership with the Dream Center and welcomes all undocumented students, those from mixed status families, and their allies to utilize this service.
Reasons to drop into Let's UndocuTalk: you currently have an issue and would like a therapist's perspective on how to handle it, you're curious about new basic coping skills to try, or you want to see what it might be like to talk to a therapist and/or to learn about therapeutic services.
What you can expect: Sign into the Zoom Meeting with your Cal Poly email. As this drop-in time is first come, first serve you may be placed temporarily in the waiting room until the mental health provider is available. The provider will discuss briefly the framework of the consultation, they will ask for your emergency contact info (in case there is an emergency and you get disconnected), and at the end of the consultation that information will be deleted and no medical record will be kept of your informal consultation.
This is a low-pressure way to interact with a therapist. We hope you will join us!
